    Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, today, Sunday, discussed with the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Iraq, Hamid bin Ahmed Aidaroos, bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
    A statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, received by Al-Maalomah, stated that Al-Sudani received Aidaroos on the occasion of the end of his duties, and appreciated his efforts during his period of work in Iraq, expressing his wishes for success in his future duties.
    Al-Sudani stressed “the importance of bilateral relations between the two countries, and the government’s aspiration towards consolidating Joint cooperation and its development at various levels, as well as coordinating efforts to confront the challenges in the region as a result of the continued aggression against Gaza and the expansion of the conflict that has affected the security and stability of the region.”
    For his part, Aidaroos expressed his “appreciation for the extent of the cooperation he received during his period of work in Iraq, stressing His country's government is keen to strengthen bilateral relations and raise the level of cooperation in several fields, in a way that achieves the interests of the two countries and the prosperity of their peoples.
