    Information / Anbar
Anbar Governor's Advisor for Energy Affairs, Aziz Khalaf Al-Tarmouz, revealed today, Sunday, the reasons for stopping the liquid gas pipeline project from Abu Ghraib district, west of Baghdad, to areas south of the city of Ramadi.

Al-Tarmouz told Al-Maalouma: “The cadres of the Oil Projects Company and the Oil Lines and Pipelines Company, one of the formations of the Ministry of Oil, completed advanced stages of the project to extend a liquid gas pipeline from the Abu Ghraib district towards the Al-Tash area, south of the city of Ramadi. The pipeline was delivered to the outskirts of the city of Ramadi, but... The project stopped working suddenly.
He added, "The Ministry of Oil stopped work on the project due to the lack of financial allocations, in addition to the presence of problems with the Traffic Directorate in Anbar regarding the method of laying the pipeline and other obstacles that prevented the project from being completed within the specified time frames."
He continued, "The length of the pipeline is 120 km and at a cost of up to 38 billion dinars. This project is one of the most important giant projects of the Ministry of Oil, in which it deals with the delivery of gas through pipelines instead of transporting it through trucks designated for transporting petroleum derivatives, which is currently in effect."
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Oil had previously approved a project to extend a liquid gas pipeline from the Abu Ghraib district, west of Baghdad Governorate, to areas south of the city of Ramadi. Ended / 12A
