Committee member Najeeb Najib said that the annual budget of the House of Representatives reached in the past years about 275 billion dinars in allocations and salaries, but the government reduced the amount in 2018 to 175 billion dinars, including protection, "adding that" the allocations of the presidency and the Office of the President of the Republic annually 57 billion dinars.
She explained that the Presidency of the Council of Ministers spend the fold of those amounts because of the division of government committees and initiatives and the presence of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.[rtl]
