The press office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri, on Monday, Kuwait's readiness to support Iraq in overcoming the current political crisis, during the visit Jubouri to the official invitation and meet with her Emir Sabah al-Ahmad.
"The situation in Iraq and the file of the elections in particular were at the top of the files that were circulated and the mechanisms and procedures used to prepare for the next phase," the director of the office, Abdul-Malik al-Husseini, told Asharq Al-Awsat.
He added that "Kuwait has expressed its support for Iraq in order to overcome the political crisis and stand by his side to prepare for the next phase of political, security and service, especially issues of reconstruction and investment."
