Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair said the ongoing debate over the Iraq war and assurances that Baghdad possesses weapons of mass destruction came as a result of intelligence.
"I would like to remind the Iraqis, whether you supported or opposed it, but there were six different commissions of inquiry (on the Iraq war), all of which came to the same conclusion, that governments may have made a mistake (by the decision of war) Based on intelligence information) but did not lie. "
In July, Blair expressed deep sadness at what happened in Iraq after the military intervention to topple Saddam Hussein, insisting that he made his decision in 2003 "in good faith."
