    Announced that the U.S. State Department said U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry discussed during the last telephone call with his Iraqi counterpart Hoshyar Zebari, the Iraqi government's support for local leaders in Anbar and ways to speed up the implementation of the oil agreement between Baghdad and Erbil.

    She added that "the U.S. Secretary of State stressed the urgent need to increase public support also encouraged the Iraqi government to continue to increase the power of local officials and tribal leaders to isolate the remnants of Daash and keep them away from populated areas as also focused on supporting political initiatives and increased political openness as part of a campaign to stabilize the long- term with a continuation of Washington to provide technical support to the military to the Iraqi army. "
