    Information / Baghdad ..
Biomed Pharma started expanding and increasing its production in Syria and began exporting its medicines to war-affected countries such as Iraq and Yemen.
"We opened the factory in 2008 and started a small project, but we now have more than 100 employees," said Fadi Abdul Masi, head of manufacturing at the factory. During the war, we stopped production for only three months when the gunmen approached the factory, while the rest of the drug factories and companies in Damascus suffered most of the damage, so the factory carried a heavy burden in production.
During the war, pharmaceutical companies in Syria suffered a lot of production and marketing and were only marketed on the local market.
He explained that the plant before the crisis and the war in Syria produced 20 kinds of medicines, but today it produces about 75 types, including heart medicines, blood and other drugs, and has a production capacity of 25 thousand packs a day.
Abdul-Masi pointed out that some products are being supplied to Yemen and at the negotiation stage in the signing of supply contracts with Iraq
