BAGHDAD / The MP of the parliamentary virtue Jamal Al-Muhammadawi said on Tuesday that the central admissions of students in Iraqi universities regarding the medical group is unfair to the efforts of the students in achieving high success rates and called for plans to accommodate outstanding students.
Al-Mahmoudawi said in a press statement received by "Iraq News" that "the admissions announced by the Ministry of Higher Education is unfair to outstanding students with high success rates and this is unfair to these students and their families."
"The admissions rate at the College of Pharmacy is higher than 97 percent as well as other medical group colleges, and the high rates do not justify depriving students of their dreams of getting seats in the colleges they want to study," he said.
He called on the Ministry of Education to expand the central acceptance of the medical group and to develop plans to accommodate outstanding students in fairness to their efforts in achieving high success rates.
A group of outstanding students and their families complained about the unfairness of their central admissions, which prevented them from obtaining their right to receive seats in medical group colleges.
