A member of the House of Representatives Ahmed Haider, on Tuesday, that the proposal that was put forward by some members of the House of Representatives with regard to the provincial councils is to freeze and not cancel.

Haider in a statement to the news agency public opinion (Bona News), that "some of the members of the House of Representatives proposed to freeze the work of provincial councils until the next elections as they exceeded the constitutional period scheduled for them," pointing out that "the current movement within the House of Representatives is divided between freezing The work of these councils or renew their work and give them confidence that the current situation indicates the difficulty of holding provincial council elections on schedule. "

Haidar said that "the proposal to freeze the work of the provincial councils is not to load the state of financial burdens and waiting for the holding of the election process."
