    Saudi Arabia's Minister of Trade and Investment, Majid bin Abdullah al-Qasabi, expressed his country's desire to sign an agreement with Iraq on trade facilitation and customs procedures to facilitate the access of goods to the two countries' markets.
    "Trade Minister Mohammed Hashim Al-Ani met with Saudi Minister of Trade and Investment Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qassabi and his accompanying delegation on the sidelines of his participation in the 34th session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, in Istanbul".
    The statement quoted Al-Qasabi as confirming Saudi Arabia's desire to develop bilateral relations and work with Iraq in the next stage to hold meetings and forums between businessmen in both countries. He expressed Saudi Arabia's desire to sign an agreement with Iraq on facilitating trade and customs procedures Markets of the two countries. "
    The statement pointed out that "the Saudi minister invited the Minister of Commerce to visit Saudi Arabia and hold bilateral meetings in the next phase."
    For his part, al-Ani welcomed the Saudi minister's call, expressing his desire to "increase the volume of trade exchange between the two countries and encourage Saudi investors to invest in Iraq," according to the statement. Ending / 25
