"Thousands of young people liberated in the belt of Baghdad and Anbar have been kidnapped for several years without disclosing their fate by the government or the security authorities," Ghurairi said in a press statement.
"The government has the responsibility to cause their loss, to reveal their fate and to release them immediately if they are arrested or to issue death certificates and to be considered martyrs if they are killed by armed groups," he said.
Al-Ghurairi said that "the crisis of the missing is large and passed without justice to the perpetrators of the crime," noting that 'there are families have more than 4 abductees without knowledge of their fate'.
