Shafaq News / Representatives of the province of Basra in the Iraqi Council of Representatives on Saturday, Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, to answer their query on the failure to enter the law of Basra, Iraq's economic capital to take effect.
MP Faleh al-Khazali said a press conference with the deputies of Basra that the project of Basra, Iraq's economic capital is of importance, including the formation of free zones and the development of infrastructure and the expansion of ports, commensurate with the status of Basra and the provision of employment opportunities.
He added that due to the failure to issue instructions to implement this law, we asked a parliamentary question for Abdul-Mahdi because of the non-activation of the law and I hope speed in answering him and the implementation of this law as soon as possible.
