    Economy News - Follow-up
The Parliamentary Committee on Transport and Communications intends to complete discussions on the Civil Aviation Authority Law, indicating that the approval of the law will contribute to removing Iraqi aviation from the European no-fly list.
The head of the committee, Zahra Al-Bajari, stated in an interview with “Al-Sabah” followed by “Al-Eqtisad News”, that “the Civil Aviation Authority Law is one of the important laws, and its approval is among the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) for the purpose of lifting the European ban on Iraqi aviation with all its public and private companies.”
Al-Bujari added, "Among the requirements for Iraq to exit the ban is the existence of an aviation law. ICAO has given a period until the end of the 12th month, and the approval of the law will contribute to the exit of Iraqi aviation from the blacklist."
It is noteworthy that the Iraqi government has directed the formation of a committee tasked with ending the European ban on Iraqi civil aviation once and for all.
