A source familiar with the press statements, "Iranian Foreign Minister [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/7825/%D9%85%D8%AD%D9%85%D8%AF %D8%AC%D9%88%D8%A7%D8%AF %D8%B8%D8%B1%D9%8A%D9%81]Mohammed Jawad Zarif[/url] arrived in Baghdad, was received by Iraqi Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs Nizar al-Khairullah."
Earlier, the Iranian Foreign Media Center said in a statement that "Zarif went to Baghdad at the head of a high-level political and economic delegation."
"A large number of directors of major [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/110896/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B4%D8%B1%D9%83%D8%A7%D8%AA %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AD%D9%83%D9%88%D9%85%D9%8A%D8%A9]government companies[/url] and the private sector in Iran are accompanying Zarif on his visit to Baghdad."
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasimi said Saturday that the aim of the visit was to participate in the joint trade forum between the two countries.
