Saudi Arabia is on top of the money laundering black list

The European Union will list Saudi Arabia at the top of a black list of countries that have failed to fight money laundering and terrorist financing, the Financial Times reported on Monday.
"This action will require the European Bank to conduct further checks and audits on banking operations with Saudi Arabia and its clients," the newspaper said in a report published by the BBC.
"The European Commission is about to announce a black list of 23 countries accused of a strategic failure in the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing, which is expected to provoke a major political dispute," the newspaper quoted European officials as saying.
The newspaper said that "Libya will also be named on the list, which did not include Russia, despite the large bank transfers carried out through European banks, but the European Commission pointed out that it is still declining Russia's position." Ending / 25
