    Cabinet held its regular eighth in Baghdad (Tuesday, February 25, 2014) under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, issued by the Council and the following decisions:

    1 - Approval of grant allocations by 30% of the nominal salary for workers in the field of ionizing radiation from the employees of the Ministry of Health in addition to other provisions, which they receive under the laws in force, on the basis of Article / 15 of the Law on civil servants' salaries 22 for the year 2008, and drawing on the decision of the Council of State No. 10 for the year 2012.



    2 - to approve the inclusion of Iraq Project Center for the treatment of cancerous tumors 300 beds within the investment plan of the Ministry of Health in 2014 to deliver the key exception of the Ministry of Planning and uncle No. 20206 on 08/27/2013.



    3 - approved a draft law office consulting scientific and technical in the Ministry of Science and Technology auditor by the State Council, and referred to the House of Representatives, according to the provisions of Articles (61 / item first) and (80 / item II) of the Constitution, taking into consideration the opinion of the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers.



    4 - Approval of an exception piece of land numbered (2/200 / County 15 / Aldhnp) which is owned to the Integrity Commission of the Council of Ministers Resolution No. (90) for the year 2013, paragraph III, for the purpose of distribution of residential plots to the employees of the body mentioned above.



    5 - to approve the draft Law of Personal Status Jaafari, the auditor by the State Council, and forwarded to the Parliament with the directive to form a committee of religious scholars posed Supreme religious authority to keep up with enactment of the law in the House of Representatives, according to the provisions of Articles (61 / item Aulau 80 / item II ) of the Constitution, after scrutiny of coordination between the Ministry of Justice and Legal Department of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.



    6-1 - approve the general principles of the national policy for the management of radioactive waste.



    2 - the formation of a technical committee chaired by the representative of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the membership of representatives of the Ministries (oil, health and the environment) in addition to the Iraqi Commission for control of radioactive sources.

    3 - The Search Committee throughout the preparation of the national strategy for the management of radioactive waste in accordance with the general principles and in line with the relevant national legislation.





    7 - approving the recommendation of the Committee write-offs in the central oil ministry on cancellation Mayati:



    1 - material excess (Backup Tools for Fiat cars pelvic model 300 Pte, the number Alqaqrat 2997 paragraph) and adult book value (31,951,769,819) Thirty-one million nine hundred and fifty-one thousand seven hundred and sixty-nine dinars eight hundred and nineteen fils, and belonging to the distribution of petroleum products.



    2 - The amount of rate of (110 820 000) one hundred and ten million eight hundred and twenty thousand dinars and private currency counterfeit suspended in the records of the branch distribution of petroleum products in Mosul since 2003 and that has been resolved by the Central Bank / connector compensation amounts forged in the deposits of the branch.



    3 - river barge for obsolete and not repaired and the possibility of its carrying amount (19,796,445,050) nineteen million seven hundred and ninety six thousand, four hundred and forty five dinars and fifty fils and return to the oil pipeline company.



    4 - Albaassan Almno.an (32346) and (32 347) type population (45) passenger model 2005's book value (51.5625 million) Fifty-one million and sixty two thousand and five hundred dinars and returning to North Refineries Company. According to the text of paragraph (11) of the Instruction No. 5 of 1989 issued to facilitate the implementation of resolution No. (110) of 1989, as amended by Resolution No. (34) for the year 2001.



    8 - Approval by the Ministry of Finance to pay the contribution of the Rafidain Bank in the capital increase of Arab Trade Financing Program at once by (161) shares, the value per share (5,000) five thousand dollars, and the total amount of $ (805,000) eight hundred and five thousand dollars, according to the provisions of Article (15 / item II) of the Companies Act No. 22 of 1997 as amended.



    9 - approving the recommendation of the Committee on Energy on the following:



    1 - hauling tender Station North EPC NoRTH DGS (Contract No.252/2011/DK/ZU0) custody of the company (Samsung Engineering Co.Ltd), and the amount of $ (894 439 346) eight hundred and ninety-four million, four hundred and thirty-nine thousand and three hundred and forty-six dollars and the period of implementation -running (30) thirty months.



    2 - hauling tender middle station EPC Center DGS (Contract No.254/2011/DK/ZU0) custody of the Company (Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. LT) and an amount of $ (818 158 940) eight hundred and eighteen million, one hundred and fifty-eight thousand, nine hundred and forty dollars and the period of implementation of standing (28) Twenty-eight months.



    10 - approving the recommendation of the Committee on Economic Affairs on the Ministry of Finance to pay the contribution of the Republic of Iraq to increase the capital of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development in the amount of $ (12.63 million) twelve million by (2.526 million) two million five hundred and twenty-six thousand dinars for the premium one.

    Cabinet approves converting Law eliminate al-Jaafari to Parliament

    approved by the Iraqi cabinet during its meeting held on Tuesday to pass a bill eliminating al-Jaafari and turn it into the House of Representatives for the purpose of voting on it.



    The Iraqi Council of Ministers had decided earlier, postponing the resolution of legal personal status and eliminate al-Jaafari until after the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled to take place on 30 April.



    An informed source said in an interview with "Twilight News", the voice of the Council of Ministers to approve the conversion law to eliminate al-Jaafari, the House of Representatives.



    The legal implications of the draft personal status and the elimination of al-Jaafari, who came by the Minister of Justice Hassan Shammari, belonging to the Virtue Party, the Council of Ministers a sensation during the past month.



    Opponents say that the other sects will go also to enact laws of their own, which would cause chaos in the laws, and the laws are based on various constitutional article on them.
