The Council of Ministers held its regular session Tuesday, 16 January 2018 under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Haider Abadi.
During the meeting, a report was submitted on the achievement of the completion of the government program in the ministries between 2014 and 2017 in the political agreement or the work plan of the ministries, where 83 percent of the paragraphs of the political agreement that pertained to the obligations of the government and the percentage is reduced because of the legislation of the House of Representatives of the agreed laws, The government program, despite the decline in oil prices and the evaluation covers three years, but the implementation rate amounted to 66 percent, a good proportion to the situation in the country.
The Council of Ministers voted on the recommendations of the Diwan Order No. 87 of 2015 regarding the consideration of applications of ministries and entities not connected to the Ministry and the governorates, approval of projects financed in the manner of negotiation or payment of time and determination of recovery mechanism.
The bill was voted on the second amendment law to the law to compensate those who lost part of their bodies due to the practices of the system No. 5 of 2009.
The Council voted to postpone the payment of customs duties on imported goods in the name of ministries and entities not affiliated with the Ministry.
The recommendations of the Committee to investigate the obstacles to the completion of investment projects formed by Decree No. 6 of 2017 were voted on.
The Council voted to pay the salaries of employees working on the operation of dams in the Kurdistan region.
The Cabinet also voted to allocate a building for the purposes of the unified national card. C
