Iran's armed forces are monitoring all American bases in the region and will not diverge, the head of Iran's Strategic Studies Center Brigadier-General Ahmed Reza Burdistan said on Saturday.
"The Iranian armed forces have identified all internal, regional and global movements and carefully monitor all movements of warships in the Persian Gulf," Bordistan said in a statement quoted by Fars.
"Iran has proved for the past 40 years that it has not attacked any country and that its defense capabilities are to defend the neutrality of the Islamic Republic," he said.
