    [rtl]The Ministry of Electricity announced Thursday that it has signed a contract with the German company Siemens to rehabilitate Kirkuk gas station with a capacity of 290 MW.[/rtl]


    [rtl]In a memorandum of understanding signed between the Ministry of Electricity and Siemens of Germany in October last year, in the presence of Undersecretary for Production Affairs, Eng. Acer Habib, on Wednesday 6/3/2019, At the Ministry's headquarters, signed a contract with the German company mentioned, and the ministry represented by the General Company for the production of electric power in the northern region, to rehabilitate the unit (K3) in Kirkuk gas station, a card (290) megawatts.[/rtl]


    [rtl] The statement added that the director general of the northern production company Walid Khalid represented the ministry, and represented Siemens, Ahmed Burhan.[/rtl]


    [rtl]The contract included the processing of a 13 MVA transformer, a circuit breaker, a power collector and a cable connection (6 kV).[/rtl]
