Member of the Legal Committee of Representatives Hussein al-Aqabi, on Wednesday, that the average absence of deputies for each session of the House of Representatives reached 150 deputies, while called for the presidency of the Council to announce the names of absentee MPs.
Al-Aqabi said in an interview with Mawazine News that "the work of the deputy whether during the period of meetings or the week of leave is legislative and oversight, but unfortunately we find that each session there is suffering to complete the quorum of the session," noting that "the average absence of deputies from the meetings reached 150 Deputy ".
He added that "the number of members of the Council up to 326 deputies, and to assume that there are 30 deputies have obligations, the question here is why not attend every meeting up to 150 deputies," pointing out that "the need to work for the deputy to cancel his obligations in the event of meetings, because His responsibility is to serve the people in the House of Representatives. "
