A US senator who recently visited Baghdad paints a pessimistic picture of the situation in Iraq

US Senator Tammy Duckworth said Iraq needs more time to restore normalcy, criticizing its
administration for failing to cooperate in restoring stability to the country.
Duckworth, who visited Iraq last week in an interview with The Washington Post, said Iraq was currently in critical conditions.
She said some members of the hardline organization had been able, by paying them to join refugee camps as displaced, and were now reorganizing themselves again.
