The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs revealed that it seeks to include retired workers with health insurance early next year 2020. The Minister of Labor, Bassem Abdul-Zaman, during his meeting with the President of the Federation of Trade Unions Ali Rahim and a number of retired workers, "the ministry's serious endeavor to include Retired workers with health insurance early 2020, and work to improve their living conditions and attention to this segment by providing adequate social services for them. "The Board of Directors of the Guarantee Fund will bear the fees of workers' guaranteed reviews of health institutions," he said. "Support to the private sector will have a significant impact on easing public sector pressure and pension benefits similar to the retirement benefits of public sector employees." He pointed out that " The ministry stands at the same distance with all unions and trade unions, calling for joint coordination between them to solve all problems, pointing out that the ministry has ideas and proposals to improve the reality of this segment. "In response to the request of the President of the Federation of Iraqi workers to approach the Council of Ministers to approve the addition of funds within the budget "The ministry is working to achieve all the demands of the workers of Iraq for the best life for them, and it has ideas and proposals to promote the reality of this segment, including the approach of the Council of Ministers to increase the grant of workers starting early next year" .
