[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The Minister of Health, Dr. Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, met with the President of the Iraqi Family Medicine Association, Dr. Muntadhar Saad, and the association’s delegation accompanying him, in the presence of the Assistant Director General of the Public Health Department, Dr. Asaad Mahdi Asaad, at the Ministry’s headquarters today, Monday.
According to a statement by the Ministry, the Minister congratulated family doctors on the occasion of their International Day and praised their role, stressing: “The Ministry has worked to increase the number of health centers in the family medicine system and provide them with specialized medical personnel, and that the year 2024 is the year of primary health care.”
The delegation presented the association’s shield for creativity and excellence to the minister as an expression of their thanks and appreciation for his continued support for family medicine and all specialties./ End H[/rtl]
