Iraqi officials confirmed that the draft law on the removal of foreign forces, which was put forward by Iraqi political forces during the past two months with the aim of submitting it to Parliament for a vote, has become deferred until further notice.
The officials, including a senior official in the Office of Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi, said that "the joint committee between the blocks that adopt it, most notably the alliance" Al-Fath "and" Saron ", no longer hold meetings since mid-last month, which is charged with writing the draft law.
They added that "the file of the withdrawal of US forces is currently closed, and is no longer proposed by the blocs that adopted two months ago, and announced the start of writing the draft law to vote in parliament, such as the alliance and the opening blocs, which include under him, as well as the alliance of others," noting " Duration, or remain sheet waving used when needed.
