Federal Court to file a lawsuit on the equality of certificates of public and private universities in Iraq

The Federal Supreme Court has responded to university degrees and recognized civil education in Iraq.
The court revealed in a statement that it held a session headed by Judge Medhat al-Mahmoud and the presence of all its members to hear the appeal filed against article 42 first of the Higher Education Law No. 25 of the year 2000 and 16, And eligibility, contrary to the provisions of the Constitution, which provides for equality and equal opportunities, and in his opinion, the difference between the rates and conditions of acceptance between the two types of universities and institutes.
The statement added that the Federal Supreme Court found that the subject of equivalence of diplomas is the responsibility of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. If there is a university or college or institute that does not meet the scientific requirements, it can not leave it or withdraw the leave.
