A spokesman for the Hezbollah Brigades in Iraq, Mohammad Mohi, said in an interview with the channel of Madaen that the disclosure of the continuation of Anbar commander Mahmoud al-Falahi and one of the agents of US intelligence "a shock."
He added that the US embassy in Iraq intervened to exonerate the peasantry in preparation for smuggling it abroad.
He pointed out that the US Embassy in Iraq is trying to influence the investigation with the peasant to characterize the results, and interfere in the work of the commission of inquiry in charge of the issue of the Iraqi Ministry of Defense.
Mohi said that "the US embassy should be condemned for its role in Iraq as well as the US forces."
"We have been in confrontation with Washington since its entry into Iraq because of the crimes it committed," he said. "America can not be trusted or dealt with properly."
"We are waiting for the technical report that will be issued by the Ministry of Defense to analyze the audio recording," said academic Hussein Allawi.
Allawi pointed out that "if confirmed the news of communication with Americans, the law determines the fate of the officer concerned."
For the impartiality of the report, he said, "the work of the commission of inquiry must be monitored."
Iraqi Defense Minister Maj. Gen. Najah Hassan Ali al-Shammari ordered the establishment of a commission of inquiry after the opposition media network showed a voice recording that said it included a contact between the farmer and a US intelligence agent.
The Ministry of Defense said in a statement that the composition of the Commission of Inquiry aims to serve the common good and to show the facts to maintain the security of the country.
The diversion of the peasantry includes the coordinates of the Iraqi army and resistance to the US military, especially the Iraqi Hezbollah battalions.
In the phone conversation, the CIA agent thanked the farmer and told him that "all the coordinates were correct."
