(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi, "slow decisions," returned to resolve the positions run by proxy by the "difficult task."
"We do not underestimate those who disagree and sometimes accuse us of slowness," Abdul Mahdi said during a meeting with a number of satellite channels. "But the right slow decision is more important than the wrong decision."
"It is our difficult task is to seek to resolve positions by proxy, the total number of positions in the agency may exceed a thousand positions, and discussed the issue in the Council of Ministers and resolved the matter and our vote on all the Directors-General in Iraq."
"We have formed a committee in the Council of Ministers from nonpartisan elements to study proxy lists and gave us an opportunity to object to the committee's decision. We have reached a full vote for all the directors-general.
"We are now moving towards downsizing the agency and setting conditions for the selection of general managers," Abdul Mahdi said
