    The head of the national wisdom movement, Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, demanded not to tolerate Zionist efforts to seize the West Bank and the Jordan Valley.
    He announced Mr. Ammar al-Hakim in a statement received (Euphrates News) a copy of "the condemnation and categorical rejection of the Zionist efforts to seize new Arab land in the West Bank and the Jordan Valley."
    Ammar al-Hakim promised these efforts "a step within the framework of the expansion of the occupation to consolidate the policy of fait accompli and gnawing more spaces."
    He called on "the Islamic and Arab regimes not to be complacent about what is happening and to take a unified position to reject these abuses."
    Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed on Tuesday at an election rally to impose Israeli sovereignty over the Jordan Valley and the northern Dead Sea and that he would annex all Jewish settlements in the West Bank if he succeeds in next week's general election.
    Arab states condemned Netanyahu's comments on his intention to annex part of the occupied West Bank.
    Officials in Jordan, Turkey and Saudi Arabia have strongly criticized Netanyahu's announcement.
    The Arab League also condemned what it called "dangerous development", calling it "aggression."
    Palestinian diplomat Saeb Erekat said such a move would amount to a "war crime" that would "bury any chance for peace."
    Netanyahu is leading the right-wing Likud party, which polls now show as a rival to his center-right Blue White party.
    Early general elections are due to be held in Israel next Tuesday, after Netanyahu failed earlier this year to form a coalition government after winning the last election.

    [size=18]Wisdom leader Ammar al-Hakim said on Thursday he rejected "Israeli" efforts to annex new Arab lands in the West Bank and Jordan Valley, calling on Islamic and Arab regimes not to tolerate this.


    Hakim said in a statement received by Alsumaria News: "We declare our condemnation and categorical rejection of the Zionist efforts to seize new Arab land in the West Bank and the Jordan Valley, and we consider a step within the framework of the expansion of the occupation to consolidate the policy of de facto and gnawing more spaces."







    Al-Hakim added: "We call on the Islamic and Arab regimes not to be complacent about what is happening and to take a unified position to reject these abuses, and to hold the United Nations Security Council and its international organization to condemn such acts that violate the norms and conventions agreed upon by the international community."

    Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Tuesday (10 September 2019) that he would impose Israeli sovereignty on the Jordan Valley, the northern Dead Sea and settlements after the elections.
