The head of the national wisdom movement, Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, stressed the importance of the government's response to the legitimate demands of demonstrators.
A statement from his office received by the Euphrates News Agency that Mr. Ammar al-Hakim received in his office the Iranian ambassador in Baghdad and discussed "bilateral relations between Iraq and Iran and the development of political files in Iraq and the region."
Mr. Ammar Al-Hakim highlighted the importance of the government's response to the legitimate demands of the demonstrators with regard to the service side and job opportunities.
Regionally, the head of the National Wisdom Movement said that "the interest of all lies in spreading calm and resorting to dialogue, stressing the need to spare the region any clash because of its impact on regional and international security and the interests of peoples."
