    Shafaq News / The outgoing Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki called on Thursday, the Council of Ministers to continue in government work and provide services in the country.


    “We must continue to work and state-building, and reassured everyone that al-Maliki would not benefit if projects succeeded, As he will not impose anything on people , the polls will determine who will win and form the government ,” Al-Maliki said at a news conference attended by " Shafaq News “.

    He explained “I do not want anything to happen in the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and stop work in the country

    He criticized the government of political quota system , praising the majority government as the solution for the next stage

    Nuri al-Maliki said also that he is not interested in winning a third term to lead the next government, adding that he would accept it if he was chosen by "the people."


    Maliki has refused in several interviews with international and local media, the formation of a majority government in Iraq if his coalition won in the parliamentary elections that took place on Wednesday
