SANA news agency reported that Syrian Army units entered this morning the city of Tabqa and its countryside, Tabqa military airport, Ain Issa town in the northern countryside of Raqqa and a large number of villages and towns in the southern, southwestern and northern parts of Raqqa.
Residents gathered at the entrance of the town of Ain Issa to receive army units, expressing confidence that only the army can protect Syrian soil from any aggressor or occupier.
He pointed out that the Agency correspondent that amid the popular welcome and other units of the army entered the town of Tal Tamr in the northwestern countryside of Hasaka to counter the Turkish aggression and its mercenaries from terrorists.
Hundreds of citizens welcomed the army units with national chants and songs, expressing their happiness and feeling of security in the arrival of the army to protect them from Turkish aggression.
In the same context, the Syrian flag was hoisted over a number of state institutions, including schools in the cities of al-Hasakah and al-Qamishli.
