The representative of the Alliance of Iraqi forces Zaitun Dulaimi, Wednesday, that the House of Representatives will devote a session today to discuss the demonstrations in the presence of Representative of the Secretary-General Jenin Blachart, while the vote on the amendment of the General Pension Law on Thursday is likely.
Dulaimi said in a statement to the information, that "the absence of an agenda for today's meeting, perhaps to allow an opportunity for as many members of the political blocs to talk about the demonstrations and put forward their visions in determining the mechanism to implement the demands of the demonstrators through the presence of the representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations Jenin Blachart to today's meeting ”.
She added that "the representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations will listen to all views and proposals, as well as hearing members of the Council to see the United Nations on resolving the crisis."
Dulaimi said that "the meeting will be free of discussion and reading new laws and legislation and it is hoped that the Council will complete its meeting if there is enough time," likely "holding a meeting tomorrow to vote on amendments to the General Retirement Law." Ends / 25 m
