[size=18]The Al-Shayeb border crossing has been opened for passengers traveling from Iraq to Iran, the Border Ports Authority announced Monday.

"It was decided to reopen Al-Shayeb border crossing for the movement of passengers from Iraq to Iran," Alaeddin Al-Qaisi said in a statement received by Alsumaria News.

He added that "the closure came at the request of the Iranian side, because of the protests in Iran."
