    [size=18]Parliament Speaker Mohammed Halbousi, on Monday, the need to work to restore confidence between the Iraqi street and the political process, while stressing the importance of proceeding with the legislation of the elections of the House of Representatives and the High Electoral Commission.


    Halbousi said in a statement to a number of media, including Alsumaria News, that "the current situation we must not stand in the interest of any party because we are facing the cause of a homeland," stressing "to work to restore confidence between the Iraqi street and the political process."






     
    He stressed "the importance of proceeding with the legislation of the elections for the House of Representatives and the High Electoral Commission," noting that "these laws will draw a roadmap for a more reliable political scene for the Iraqi people and restore confidence between the people and the political process clearly and explicitly."
     
    He continued that "the law currently under way for the elections of the Council of Representatives includes 50% individual lists and other 50% electoral lists with privacy for some provinces, especially those that have been under the occupation of ISIS terrorist and the return of displaced people," pointing to "I support the election to be individual for all the Iraqi people and be 100% is for individual candidates and we take care of the privacy that handles some cases in the provinces. "

     
    "We talked with the coalition of Iraqi forces that they have some special issues for the displaced people," he said. ".
     
    On the 45-day deadline, Halbousi said: "We do not judge ourselves with timings that may be less than that, but some laws need a broad vision to satisfy the discussions and take the opinions of specialists to be a little closer or less than the date set."
