MP Bassem Khashan said on Tuesday that the deal to pass Sumer cigarettes is borne by the speaker of parliament, Mohamed Halbousi, being the former finance committee official in parliament.
Khashan said in a statement to the information, that "the House of Representatives can not intervene directly to open these files, because it is not competent in these cases, but the Iraqi judiciary and the court and integrity open the file and revealed those involved in this deal."
He added that "the transaction mentioned exceeded the value of millions of dollars," noting that "responsible for it is Speaker of Parliament Mohammed Halbousi because he passed the deal illegally and must be held accountable by the judiciary." Finished 15 x
