Today, Thursday, President of the Republic, Barham Salih, refused to assign the new building alliance candidate Asaad Al-Eidani, headed by the Council of Ministers.
A source told "Al-Ikhbaria," that "the President of the Republic refuses to assign the candidate of the building bloc Asaad Al-Eidani, headed by the Council of Ministers, to succeed resigned Adel Abdul-Mahdi."
He added, "The President of the Republic is ready to sacrifice his position, instead of imposing the candidates on him without returning to the people."
A source from Najaf, close to the supreme religious authority, stated that the latter reached the stage of despair from the political class and Iranian interference.
