Talabani: Saleh's visit to Sulaymaniyah is related to the results of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan elections

Member of Parliament Ala Talabani and the leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, to whom the President of the Republic Barham Salih belongs, affirmed that his recent visit to Sulaimaniyah "is a natural matter and relates to the results of the recent elections of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan", which remained without a general secretary after the departure of its founder and leader Jalal Talabani.
Talabani added, in a statement to Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper, which was followed by "Al-Ikhbaria", that "the presence of President Saleh in Sulaimaniya is natural, as it is an Iraqi city first and not a foreign country and secondly for the purposes of following up and completing the results of the party elections, and has nothing to do with any other issue."
