On Tuesday, Al-Hikma MP Asaad Al-Morshedy revealed the reason for not approving Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi formally to the Prime Minister despite his agreement.
Al-Murshidi said in a statement to “Information”, that “the political blocs agreed to nominate Mustafa Al-Kazemi and Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi for prime minister, but the dispute between Al-Fateh and others led to the non-selection of one of the candidates.” that".
He added that "the competition between Al-Kazemi and Allawi is still quite significant and may be resolved in the coming days," noting that "the House of Representatives will hold an extraordinary session during the coming days in the event that a certain person has been agreed to vote on it as he entered his legislative holiday."
