[rtl]The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Construction and Housing, has requested direct implementation of the recommendations of the Supreme Committee for the Distribution of Residential Plots.[/rtl]
[rtl]A source in the Cabinet Secretariat told Al-Ghad Press that the council directed the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works to take the appropriate measures to cancel the decisions of the dissolved Revolutionary Command Council numbered (181 and 184) for the year 2002 urgently.[/rtl]
[rtl]He added, "The directive included the termination of unexploited agricultural contracts, which fall within the basic design of the city of Baghdad and the municipalities of the provinces, as well as those that will again be included in the basic designs, taking into account the rights of peasants exploiting the land."[/rtl]
[rtl]He indicated that the directive also included, "defining the actual needs of the land necessary for the housing of its military plots, and providing the competent committee with the coordinates of the land agreed upon in the camps (Hammad Shihab, Al-Diwaniyah, Saad, and Tariq) in order to start the screening operations."[/rtl]
[rtl]He pointed out that the Real Estate Registration Department will be responsible for "registering lands that will be distributed to citizens electronically, provided that an inventory is prepared with the required needs of employees, computers and complete logistical support, to enter data for new lands, within the e-governance project."[/rtl]
[rtl]He stated that the Ministry of Finance will show its new philosophy with regard to lands belonging to the state, and that the governorates distribute ready-made plots of land to citizens, "according to the criteria approved after the approval of their plans, in addition to the Ministry of Construction and Housing, laying designs for building low-cost housing complexe[/rtl]
