The commission said in a statement that its office in [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/644/%D8%B0%D9%8A %D9%82%D8%A7%D8%B1]Dhi Qar[/url] continues to monitor and control peaceful demonstrations in the province and document violations against demonstrators, activists, lawyers, the media and human rights defenders.
The statement added that while the Commission condemns the targeting, assault and repeated threats of its council, offices, cadres and monitoring teams, it pledges to continue carrying out its work and field monitoring and documentation of everything that violates human rights or endangers the lives of Iraqis (demonstrators and security forces) in danger in accordance with "its law and in line with the constitution and standards International agreements guaranteeing civil and political rights and constitutional fundamental freedoms.
