    The International Air Transport Association "IATA" announced on Monday that the airlines losses in the Middle East amounted to about 100 million dollars due to the Corona virus.
    He said in a statement seen by "Economy News", that airlines in the Middle East region have lost an estimated $ 100 million so far due to the outbreak of the Corona virus, stressing that governments should assist airlines in "this difficult period."
    He added that ticket sales are expected to witness a decrease in the Middle East region over the coming weeks, noting that revenues face a danger if restrictions on aviation continue in Asia.
    Etihad said that global airlines are expected to lose $ 1.5 billion this year.
