    {Baghdad: Al Furat News} The investigation department in the Integrity Commission announced that its owners in Nineveh Governorate carried out three seizures that resulted in the arrest of a number of defendants for fraud and promoting fraudulent foodstuffs.
    Speaking about the operations carried out by the staff of the Nineveh Investigation Directorate, the department indicated that the first work team that moved to the Faruq area on the right side of the city of Mosul was able to arrest six accused who transported rice material from the camps for the displaced and food agents to one of the garages. In the area, they took a "unlicensed" laboratory to sift, grease, refill rice, and put it on the market as an importer.
    She added that another working group was able in a separate process to arrest five suspects in the Al-Tamim neighborhood on the left side of the city, filling rice and lentils in other bags for camouflage, and it would be imported in the markets after it, noting that the process that was taking place in one of the stores resulted in seizing a wheel loaded with rice And lentils.
    In a third process, the staff of the Nineveh Investigation Directorate seized a store owner in the Al-Faisaliah area on the left side of Mosul, for importing empty bags bearing the signs of imported rice material to owners of unlicensed laboratories; to refill the rice brought in from camps for the displaced and food agents, and sell it As imported rice.
    The department indicated that fundamental arrest records were organized in the operations that took place, based on judicial memoranda, and presented them with the 12 defendants to Mr. Nineveh, the Judge of the Nineveh Investigation Court specializing in integrity issues, who decided to arrest the defendants and conduct the investigation in accordance with the provisions of Article (9 / First) in terms of Article (10 / first) of the Consumer Protection Law.
