MP Riyadh Mohamed confirmed on Thursday that most political blocs are unwilling to hold early elections in the new law, while the blocs require that at the present time elections be held in the old law.
Mohamed said in a statement to / Information /, that "the new election law is inactivated due to the political blocs that reserve it and are unwilling to implement it," noting that "most political blocs are not willing or serious to hold early elections at the present time."
He added that "the political blocs want the elections to take place with their old law to achieve staying in power," noting that "the Alliance of the Cyclists stipulated that the elections take place with the new law and within multiple constituencies."
Member of Parliament, Basem Al-Khashan, affirmed on Tuesday that Prime Minister-designate Adnan Al-Zarfi is unable to hold early elections, even if he pledges to do so, while he indicated that Al-Zarfi will not pass in the House of Representatives. It ended 25 T.
