The deputy of the Al-Fateh Alliance Fadel Jaber said, Sunday, that the next transitional government needs a period of at least a year to hold early elections, indicating that all the blocs with early elections.
Jaber said in a statement to the "information", that "the demand for reference and protest yards in Baghdad and the provinces to hold early elections won acceptance of all political blocs, but rather clearly supported it by voting on a new election commission and completing a new law in accordance with the demands of the protest yards."
He added that “there are objective and technical reasons that must be available for the purpose of holding early elections, one of which is being worked on is determining the districts adopted by the new law and calculating the population density ratios for each district, in addition to merging some of the areas close to the districts that need population density”, noting that “the Ministry of Planning A number of deputies will prepare the technical paper soon enough for the purpose of voting on the law after the paper is finished.
And Jaber continued, "As for the objective reasons, it is necessary to provide a valid electoral environment by creating a state of security stability and this must be a long time and for more than eight months at least, so early elections cannot be organized within less than a year."
