Interior Minister stresses smooth movement of food trucks

Interior Minister Yasin al-Yassiri on Monday stressed the importance of the smooth movement of trucks of basic goods, vegetables and foodstuffs.
"Interior Minister Yasin al-Yasseri conducted an inspection tour in a number of areas of Baghdad in the early hours of Monday to see what measures the security forces are taking to enforce the curfew," said an interior ministry statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
Al-Yassiri praised "the efforts of the members of the Ministry of Interior in their various formations," stressing that "no violation of the curfew should be allowed, in order to maintain public safety and reduce the spread of the coronavirus among citizens."
The Interior Minister ordered that "food prices be constantly monitored and that traders and shopkeepers who manipulate prices be held accountable," stressing the "importance of the smooth movement of basic goods trucks, vegetables and foodstuffs."
