revealed a member of the House of Representatives and close to the Prime Minister-designate, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, Saturday, that the latter begins today a round of talks on forming a government, likely to introduce his cabinet in the middle of next week.
The close deputy said, "Al-Kazemi is scheduled to begin this evening, Saturday, a round of talks and meetings with representatives of several political forces, and that if Al-Kazemi achieves success with negotiations this week, his government will be presented in the middle of next week to parliament."
And revealed a member of Parliament that "the current negotiations are based on the principle of an interim government for a year or more to prevent the branching of the blocs or their expansion in terms and demands."
He explained that "the main political blocs and forces that have previously announced their support for Al-Kazemi are demanding today several points, most notably their representation in his government, and also the issue of the government's program to include the issue of removing American forces in relation to Shiite blocs."
He pointed out that "Kurdish blocs demand that the issue of the budget, the region's share, and the commitment of agreements already concluded with the outgoing Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi be resolved, and that the Sunni Arab bloc demands the reconstruction of the destroyed and kidnapped areas and the return of the displaced, in addition to its representation in the government."
He explained that "the issue of choosing ministers is not the most difficult file in these dialogues, compared to other conditions." Ended 29 / A 43
