Al-Nasr coalition announced its support for Mustafa Al-Kazimi's government in the face of existential risks that threaten the state, while he imposed on the government of Abdul-Mahdi, stressing that it exceeded the sanctities of citizens, and entered the country with a catastrophic crisis tunnel.
"The victory coalition has influenced the support of the Al-Kazemi government, even though it did not participate in it, because it believed in the necessity of lifting the country out of its crises," the coalition said in a statement.
He demanded the government to adopt an effective, firm and neutral national policy, and to implement an impartial and complete implementation of its government program.
The Al-Nasr coalition held the previous government fully responsible for its failure to manage the country's files, bypassing it on the sanctities, freedoms and rights of citizens, and by entering the country with a catastrophic crisis tunnel that will suffer from its political, social and economic consequences.
The Victory Coalition called for comprehensive national solidarity to ensure a sound state administration.
And granted the Iraqi parliament, on Wednesday evening, confidence in the government of Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazemi, after a political crisis that struck the country for 10 months.
During the parliament session, with the presence of 255 representatives out of 329, confidence was given to 15 ministers in a government of 22 ministers.
The vote on the oil and foreign ministries has been postponed, although Iraq is currently going through the most severe economic crisis in its history, with its oil revenues falling five-fold in one year.
Representatives in the Iraqi parliament said that the parliament approved the majority of the ministers who were appointed by the Prime Minister-designate, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, for a new government to take over after months of stalemate.
They added that al-Kazimi's choices for the ministries of interior, defense, finance, electricity, and other key portfolios were approved by parliament during the vote.
However, the vote on the Ministries of Interior and Oil was postponed, which means that Al-Kazemi will start his term without a full government, while Al-Kazemi has taken the constitutional oath as head of the Iraqi government. M hn
