The President of the House of Representatives older Mehdi al-Hafez, on Monday, the second postponement of the parliamentary session scheduled to be held, on Tuesday, the 12 of August of next month, after the failure of the first session to choose the speaker and his two deputies.
A parliamentary source said in an interview to the (long-Presse), "The President of the House of Representatives older Mehdi al-Hafez decided to postpone the second session, which was scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, to August 12 of the next month."
Had illustrates the source, who requested anonymity, "the reasons for the postponement of the meeting."
The Iraqi Council of Representatives held on Tuesday, (the first of July 2014), the first meeting of the electoral cycle, the third headed by MP older, Mehdi al-Hafez, and the presence of 255 deputies and the Prime Minister outgoing Nuri al-Maliki, and former speaker of parliament, Osama al-Nujaifi, and Ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions in Iraq, and the District of national coalition led by Iyad Allawi, without being able to elect a speaker and two deputies, what forced him to adjourn the meeting on Tuesday, (July 8, 2014).
