On Wednesday, the Supreme Judicial Council announced the names of the judges nominated for the new formation of the Federal Supreme Court.
The Media Center of the Supreme Judicial Council said, in a statement, the agency / Al-Maalouma / received a copy of it, that “the selection of the judges in charge of the new formation of the Federal Supreme Court included the selection of the head of the Judicial Supervision Authority, Jasim Muhammad Abboud, for the position of president of the court and the president of the Anbar Criminal Court, Samir Abbas, for the position of vice president of the court. And the President of the Wasit Court of Appeals, Ghaleb Amer, the President of the Najaf Court of Appeals, Haider Jaber, a member of the Court of Cassation, Ayoub Abbas, the Judicial Supervisor, Dr. Haider Ali Nouri, and a member of the Cassation Commission in the appeal of Salah al-Din Khalaf Ahmad are genuine members of the court.
The statement added, "The President of Al-Karkh Court of Appeals, Khaled Taha, the President of the Basra Appeals Court, Adel Abdul-Razzaq, and a member of the Court of Cassation, Munther Ibrahim, were chosen as reserve members of the court." Ended / 25 o'clock
