[size=45]On Thursday, Minister of Justice Salar Abdul Sattar discussed with the US Ambassador to Baghdad Matthew Toller the recovery of Iraqi antiquities.[/size]
[size=45]"The Minister of Justice, Salar Abdul Sattar, discussed with the US ambassador to Baghdad, Matthew Toller, aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries, especially in the legal fields and ways to activate them in the near future," the Ministry of Justice media said in a statement.[/size]
[size=45]During his meeting with the US ambassador, Abd al-Sattar referred to "the depth of bilateral and strategic relations between Baghdad and Washington," noting "the importance of continuing joint cooperation and providing support to strengthen the human rights system and the justice sector."[/size]
[size=45]The two sides also discussed "the importance of agreeing to take procedures for judicial notifications in US courts, as well as seeking to recover and return Iraqi antiquities that date back to different eras of the Mesopotamian civilization."[/size]
